Want to know about the base of technology users that Andover Intel will be using to gain a unique insight into the tech market and technology adoption? Here’s a summary of things as they stand today, but remember that we’ve set up a mechanism for other technology users to join in, and in return to have a unique chance to ask us questions in private.
Today, we have 277 end users on our list, of which 43 are SMBs and 50 are based outside the US (in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and Africa). These represent 42 industry groups and 32 “clusters” based on industry and firm size, with similar tech needs. Included are tech service supplers, including telcos (45, including 8 Tier Ones), OTTs, and cloud providers. Roughly 100 of the “enterprises”, meaning large firms, are not involved in tech in any way and regularly contribute insights. We have historical data on our clusters, which means we can track views and trends as far back as 1989, and we also have modeling data on the clusters, based on our “decision model” technology, that projects future trends.
What we’re hoping to do in Andover Intel is to supplement this base of users, particularly internationally and in the 14 clusters where we have limited SMB representation. See our “Users Only” and “Contact Us” pages for details on how to join up and take advantage of the free answers we’ll provide end users.
Starting this summer, we’ll be posting blogs on the Andover Intel sight to analyze what we get from our base of technology users. Watch for a growing number of these through the late summer, fall, and beyond!
